TRADITIONAL CHIROPRACTIC

TRADITIONAL CHIROPRACTOR IN ATHENS, GEORGIA

Chronic issues such as headaches, neck pain, and low back pain are just a few of the issues commonly treated and relieved by chiropractic care. There are various concepts behind chiropractic procedures, including the belief that to some extent, the human body is inherently capable of healing itself through innate intelligence. The body's nerves, muscles, bones and joints are all interconnected and work together to complete the healing process. Chiropractic involved different types of adjustments that help keep you healthy.

Spinal adjustments are procedures involving the use of the chiropractor's hands and/or instruments to improve alignment within the body. There are multiple techniques chiropractors may apply based on the symptoms and conditions of each patient. These include:

01

Extremity Adjustments

In addition to spinal adjustments, Dr. Huppert has received additional training and certification in extremity adjusting. These include knees, ankles, feet, shoulders, elbows, hands, and TMJ.

02

Soft tissue mobilization

The mobilization of muscles and ligaments involve a serious of slow stretches. Soft tissue mobilization is very helpful with athletes who have injured large muscle groups.

03

Drop Table Adjusting

A chiropractic adjusting table allows individual portions to be lifted. When force is applied to a patient's body, the lifted portions of the table drops back into place. This allows momentum to assist with the maneuver.

04

Instrument Adjusting

Chiropractic techniques that utilizes instruments (i.e. Activator) can be used with patients who are either in extreme pain or find traditional means of adjusting too uncomfortable. Instruments are designed with different levels of intensity to release impulses onto the troubled area of the body. Instrument adjusting is particularly effective with extremities and TMJ.
